This pergola is everything I thought it would be once I got it set up. It was not difficult to put together but the instruction manual could be much more user friendly. It took much longer to put together than it should have. The A1, A2, B1, B2 parts look very similar so do not over think it! I have had this pergola for a few days so I can not attest to how well the shade keeps the sun away, but I look forward to it this summer. I would recommend buying some weight canvas bags as a subtitute to anchoring into concrete.

Go for something with a hard roof instead.
The metal structure was easy to put up, however the screws and areas where pieces were connected are rusting after only a few months. The tarp is completely useless, easy to tear and water collects. We are having to improvise and replace the fabric tarp with a more expensive hard roofing material. I got it for less than $200 and it looks like the price went up so I suppose I got a great deal on the base.
