The bed is pretty solid and sturdy. We love the blush color, it is a beautiful light pink. The finish is nice and smooth, no chances for snags or splinters. I do wish the railing was more in the middle for a better chance of protecting from falls in the middle of the night but so far it has been okay. The bed is low enough to the ground that my 2 year old has no problem getting in and out in her own.
