  • There's dark and then there's Seriously Dark. This decaffeinated artisan blend is extra dark and rich with notes of walnut and chocolate with a sweet finish.
  • Ingredients: A blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee. Certified Orthodox Union OU Kosher. Available whole bean or pre-ground. Approved for use in standard drip coffee makers as well as espresso machines, automatics, pour overs, Aeropress, French press, moka pot, and percolators.
  • For best taste in counter top coffee makers, we recommend starting with 1-2 tbsp 5-10g of ground coffee per 6 fl oz 180ml of cold filtered water and adjusting to your taste. Keep your fresh roasted coffee at its freshest by storing in its zip-seal bag or an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place.

For the price a serious contender

I am not a coffee aficionado but a cheapster looking for the best I can get at lower prices. The "Seriously Dark" (actually just dark roast) 5 lb. decaf checks all the boxes for me, and over the years trying modestly priced whole bean and ground decaf it stands out. I suspect all decafs have a tendency to require a bit more to attain full flavor, and that is so here. I do not regret taking the risk of buying 5 lbs at $12/lb. Very smooth, low acidity, pleasing taste, no weird chemical taste.

Bold, rich, mellow — love it!

I savored that cup. Here's what stood out: Bold & intense — it really leans into that “seriously dark” character. Chocolate + walnut tones — I got a smooth baker's-chocolate body with toasted walnut hints. Sweet finish — there's a lingering softness that balances the roast. Low acid gentleness — feels smoother on the palate than many other darks. Decaf done right — it holds flavor without going flat or lifeless.
