These bits are ground from solid 1-piece design and is up to 5 times more durable than the current 2-piece conventional product. The patented web taper increases the rigidity of the bit to decrease the potential for bit breakage and the patented pilot point tip allows users to drill holes faster than the conventional split point product and offers clean burr free holes with reduced bit walking. Common users include electricians, HVAC, mechanics, glaziers and GC's. These drill bits feature a 1/4" Hex shank. Set includes: (2) 1/8", (1) 9/64", 5/32", 11/64", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and a Tough Case. (Pilot Point on 3/16" and larger sizes).

I thought a was investing in solid tools!!!!

I bought a 10-piece DeWalt Titanium drill bit set about 2 months ago. I used the set for the first time on yesterday. Seven of the ten drill bits got overheated and broke in half. DeWalt stuck to their 30-day money back guarantee. I mistakenly thought that DeWalt was the supreme manufacturer of tools who guarantees their products for life. Turns out, they only have confidence in certain tools they produce. What a shame!!!!!! I hope I can find a more reliable manufacturer.
