Overall I really love this shelving unit. It is far sturdier than the wooden unit it is replacing. I found it relatively easy to put together. It was a little confusing putting it together due to a small amount of missing information in the directions. Looking at the parts allowed me to quickly figure out the missing steps. I am already planning to buy a second unit, perhaps one with more shelves. This one easily holds my cds, boombox, router and modem with space left over. The next will hold my stereo and all my vinyl plus some of my library. I am very happy with this unit, I expect it will last me for years to come.
