This A/C has been wonderful so far with it being hotter out. It keeps our bedroom nice and cool. It was fairly easy to set up and all of the different settings are great! Sometimes we just use the fan and that works great also. I like how the vent on top has a setting where you can have it rotate up and down to circulate the air better.

I'm in Arizona and we have some brutally intense heat during the summer. I have been getting along with just a 5000 BTU window unit for my bedroom but it doesn't put out enough air to cool the room ( approx 12'x12') when it's 115 degrees outside. This is an older double wide mobile home so insulation (or the lack thereof) is probably an issue also. I decided after temps reaching upwards of 90 degree in the room on those days (with the window unit on High) that I'd had enough. Originally I was going to go with something not quite as big as 13,000 BTU but I'm glad now that I got this one. It puts out the air, is reasonably quiet, and keeps the room (so far) at a very comfortable 75 degrees. I"m more than pleased with the purchase. I ran the vent hose right up beside the window unit, which is still there. Now I don't have to suffer in here this summer....very much worth the money, very easy setup.
