easy to assemble, directions are easy to understand especially with pictures. it literally took me 10 mins to assemble its sturdy enough for my dressses and i love that you can extend the top bar for scarves,bags, etc. now ad states 450lbs im not sure about that but I'll definitely be testing that out. Id recommend and purchase another for myself especially if the max weight holds up
