The directions prepped you for the hardness of putting the top together but it was do able. Bought it to hold heavy coats in the basement. It does a great job and does not bend under the heavy weight of the coats. It was a great buy. May get another for the garage. Assembly was not difficult, just take it slow and easy. Also have on hand a rubber mallet and gently use it if needed to lock in the parts. It definitely holds at least 200 lbs, as you can see by the photos. I took a video to show how easy it moves but the review only accepts photos. It moves easily, and Im so glad I ignored the bad reviews. This is equivalent to almost 1 entire walk-in closet on one rack. There is no bowing, no strain, etc. I absolutely love it and would buy it again.
