I had another small 2 cup plastic storage container set with lids. The lids just snapped on. I used this for a long time. But over time realized that these container did not properly seal out air. The food that was stored in them went bad, or went stale shortly after I refrigerated it. I decided to try the Rubbermaid 2 cup size container 3 pack. They have a screw on cover which I like much better. So far the food stored in these little containers are staying fresh. This is important to me. Very glad I purchased this inexpensive product.

I am so glad Wal-Mart carries these containers. I purchased both the 2 cups and the 1.2 cup sizes. The lids are leak proof so I worry less about spills in lunch pails.

Good solid containers

Rubbermaid TakeAlongs 2-Cup Twist & Seal Food Storage Container is great for taking lunch to work or school, for kids snacks and for organizing things like screws, paper clips and other small items that you don't want to get all over the place. The rubberized edges allow you to close it securely. The lids also have a rubberized surface for easy stacking. These containers are safe to use in the microwave, freezer and dishwasher, the design allows you to worry about one less thing on a busy morning. I am very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for reading my review.
