The sweats don't have a lot of stretch to them. I would recommend sizing up one size I ordered a small and usually I fit into a small in Walmart sweats but not with this specific sweatpants. I did end up giving them to my daughter, but tried re-ordering a medium and they didn't have any in stock. Hopefully they come back in stock because they are great quality.
