I like that I can fill it with sand so the wind don't blow it off the top of the coop and that it's light weight and can hang from a tree.I put 2 of these guys out along with some DIY "scare devices"and I have not lost another chicken yet...fingers crossed..

Birds don't like this guy!

We usually get a lot of birds in our back yard, and they like to nest under our patio when we are away. We ordered the owl to keep the birds out when we are gone. I hung it with a bungy cord when it arrived, and the birds refused to come close for at least a day. After four days, I haven't moved it yet and only a few birds have ventured close to the house. I'm happy so far since the owl is effective.

Keeps birds off my pool cover

I was surprised to see how well these owls keep birds off my pool cover. I used to get dozens of birds on my cover and they sometimes poked holes in it. Since I placed these owls on my pool deck I have not see a single bird on the cover. I think it helps if you occasionally move the owls to different positions as recommended.
