This heat pad has helped me with cramps and back pain. It heats up in a few minutes and then it's ready to keep you warm and help you with your pain. I highly recommend it for the quality of the fabric and for the ease of use! I've washed the fabric in the washing machine and came out as new, so it's perfect for daily use and if it gets dirty you just take apart the fabric and wash it!

Hang with it %26 practice

It takes a bit of practice to get the temperature just right. In company's defense they probably tell you too little time in the microwave at first to prevent burns! The directions also recommend occasional (? how often) addition of a small amount of water in the microwave to prevent grains from drying out. Adding 1/4 cup of water in glass container also lowers the temp. Overall a good product just different than the plug in heating pad.
