very good for the price. sturdy solid wood. some of the predrilled holes are a bit too small, but still possible to get the nuts in with force, but without cracking. the headboard is a bit flimsy, and it's 2-piece assembly has a very visible joint. the vertical planks are too far, need oversized thick pillows to not fall through when leaning against. but for barely over a hundred, very good deal for a good, but not oerfect bed.
