Carpuride 4K Dash Cam Front and Rear Wireless Android Auto Carplay ,Car DashCamera 10.26" HD IPS Touch

I have an older Toyota Camry with no factory ready car player and no front or rear camera, so I really wanted an aftermarket carplayer. I did a lot of research and decided I wanted this specific Carpuride model with side mounted dash cam and was amazed at the price offered here vs the official website. About the unit itself: Amazing resolution! Amazing! The unit is a great size for my aging eyes, though I raised my seat so I can see the road over the car player better. Pay attention to dimensions and what works in your car space people! This unit is not small, and I did not want it to be. Very easy to set up and get running with my car and steering controls - except for the back up cam, which is involved, so I still haven't got that going. As I mostly bought it for GPS and back up cam, I need to get that back up cam installed! For now, I love that the dash cam swivels 360 and can be used to see behind me. I also love that this unit's dash cam is placed to the far right side and not center. This was a MUST for me. It obstructs the driving view right in front of me less, important as the player is already tall and wide, as said before. More importantly, side placement also allows me to attach the car player unit via included arm and suction cup to my front window AND NOT have the worry of the arm blocking the camera (as it does with center placed dash cams.) I adore having a large gps in front of my steering wheel, and face, and not having to look down to my phone and away from traffic. I appreciate the versatility of having multiple ways sound/music can be output into the car amd the ease of switching between them dependent on what other tech might have plugged in. The unit has a decent built-in mic and speaker that allows me desired hands-free control. I love that this accesses Android Auto apps - and that I can have them open automatically upon car start. I then can listen to whatever books or music I desire on my commute, without a lot of selection and setup time invested prior to driving. Love that this unit is Google based. I am still learning how to maximize that and use drive time productively. I don't really use it to stream entertainment while parked - that function and additonal required app aren't as accommodating as I had hoped, but that function has nothing to do with why I bought the unit - it is just a fun extra. But, fyi, for many streaming services you will wind up just having to use your phone.

This is an unexpectedly, simply beautiful CarPlay system! It was easy to install and setup and the unit enhances the beauty and increases the functionality of our older model minivan!
