Very nice stand,works perfectly for what I wanted. The folding feature is awesome, light weight . I added 4 -12X12 ceramic tile @ 50 cents each, to each shelf to make it more stable. Added 2 cubes for storage of small items, Perfect... 13lbs for this stand where the wood stands is 45 lbs, and have to be put together. And like another person said you can leave up or down a shelf for tall items. And if you want to change things later on fold it up and slide it under couch or bed till next time.

I like this product because after having to put together numerous bookshelves in my new town home this simply unfolded into position.
