My family and I used the Uncle's rice (orange box) for probably 60 years, but the past couple years I've been getting lots of dry hulls and discolored kernels—so I tried Parish Rice. and I have been impressed with the clean look of it—the grains are nice and long, and it cooks and tastes great. This is the best rice I have bought, great taste when made with chicken fried rice, I have type 2 diabetes and this is the only rice that does not rise my blood sugar any more than a normal meal, every rice I have tried shot my blood sugar very high
