Usage for Cold Treatment
Place the gel-pack in a freezer for at least 2 to 3 hours.
Unlike other cold-packs, this gel-pack won't become rigid under ordinary freezer temperatures.
Usage for Warm Treatment
Either a microwave or boiling water can be used.
Microwave:start out by heating for 20-second intervals until the pack reaches the desired temperature. After removing from the microwave, knead and flex the gel-pack to even out the heat.
Boiling water: The pack can also be heated in boiling water for 2 to 5 minutes. Use tongs to remove the pack from the water.
Caution:Be sure to cover the bag with a towel or a covering until you get the desired temperature, people with nerve damage in the area being treated should consult a doctor.
Body friendly:These packs use nontoxic Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and glycerin to store up either heat or cold.

Finally!!! I have gone thru 4 different shoulder braces trying to get one that actually fits me the way it should. And this is it!! Going by other manufacturers products you would think only size 2-7 physically fit people get injured and need to use a brace! But not this product!! So to all of you fellow size 9 and up people out there, this is the one to choose!! It has a removable Velcro strap that goes around your body that can be adjusted wherever you need it for comfort and support. The piece that Velcros around the arm is actually big enough to go around my arm!! It is very soft material and there aren't any spots where the Velcro pokes you. The ice/hot pack goes in a little sleeve so it is placed over the shoulder when it's put on and it isn't heavy so it doesn't pull down on my arm. I have a cellular disease that causes all of my joints to partially dislocate whenever they seem fit and this brace gives phenomenal support and comfort when my shoulder goes out. Plus the added ability to keep and ice or hot pack in place over the joint. I am in love with this brace and will definitely be ordering from this company again!!

Useful but shoulder sleeve is non-essential.
It works! I wish the gel packs can be more reusable. Gel packs has limited use. I used more of the gel packs and did not use much of the shoulder sleeve. I gave it a 5 because it served for my purpose.
