I bought this for my sewing room not the car so I can't answer for a car usage. I sew and quilt and have threads and small bits of fabric everywhere. It is a replacement for an old friend.

We bought one of these vacs years and years ago. It lasted until just recently when the rechargeable battery would no longer hold a charge. Comparing the cost of a replacement battery and a new vac, we opted for the new vac. We only hope this new vac will be as good as the last one.
