Needed to replace a similar lamp that failed

I had one of the shades on a similar lamp fail from old age - it got brittle and broke. If I had been able to find a replacement part, I would have just bought a shade but it's not something I could find, but I did find this lamp and Walmart had the best price.

not worth it

piece of crap. some lengths of the segmented pole dont screw in all the way. Base is weighted but has a flimsy plastic hood that is only attached to the base of the pole and can be bent at the edges. Shades are cheap thin plastic, annd the top one arrived split open and cracked around the center where you have to secure it. brand new and i had to salvage it with clear packing tape. Do yourself a favor and buy a lamp you can see and thats already assenbled and doesnt have to be shipped in a weak-cardboard box.
