I think this is the best salt free salt substitute out there. It is potassium chloride unlike Nu-Salt which is potassium citrate and has a slight tang metallic taste to it in my opinion. Walmart's own artificial salt has a slight bleach after taste. This one taste to me, a long time user of salt substitute, like Real Salt. So much so that I prefer it over the real thing now

Sodium salt is poison to me and tastes salty sweet. Potassium salt (this) is fine and tastes salty bitter. I haven't noticed the bitter for decades. One to one substitution in all recipes and at the table. Was an action and study in China that showed that lite salt (half this,half table) salt noticeably reduced cardiovascular deaths. Users of this sodium free salt are very unlikely to suffer a sodium deficiency.
