Delivered to wrong address

We never got this item. The Sheridan post office delivered it to the wrong address and they need a tracking number. There is no tracking number that I can find. I can't get any help from anyone, so I just lost my money trying to get this item delivered to me. The people that received my item, won't give it back to the post office, is what Sheridan post office told me. I thought that was a federal offense to keep someone's packages/mail.
