I purchased the silver desk, and the color is just as advertised. Although intimidating the assembly was easier than I had expected. The instructions are clear and all the parts were delivered intact. No items were missing. One thing I really liked was the tray they organized the smaller parts in. All in all the desk is very spacious and has plenty of storage space. It took me and 2 other people about 1 1/2 hrs to build
