We LOVE this bed frame! I cannot say enough good things about it and for the bargain of a price, don't hesitate! It took a few hours to put together (by myself) but wasn't hard. My son has a very small room so having a loft bed gives him so much more space to be able to play. Right now we are using the desk as extra toy storage/display but it will be perfect as an actual desk space as he gets older. The LED light strip is really good quality, although the tape doesn't stick well. I suggest using a few zipties to secure it to the beam. You definitely want to make sure to use the anchoring system! The bed is very sturdy but an adult or older kid climbing up will make the bed rock a bit which is to be expected. I had planned on buying some sort of padding for the stair treads for added comfort, but it came with a roll of foam padding that works perfectly!
