So easy and surprisingly powerful

I'm honestly impressed with this ice cream maker. It's super easy to use, even the first time, and the texture comes out smooth and creamy every time. I've made ice cream, gelato, and milkshakes so far, and it handled mix-ins really well without getting stuck. The pint containers with lids are a great bonus for storing leftovers in the freezer. I also love that I can control the ingredients and make healthier options like sorbet and smoothie bowls. It doesn't take up much counter space and cleans up quickly. Overall, this is a great buy and absolutely worth it.

Works great not the Skvevn the Jlajla

It was not the brand that it says it was a jlajla I have never heard of it but it seems to be a better brand than the actual one they had in the ad. I could not find any reviews on the skvevn But I did on the jlajla after I got it. So its the same I do like it no complaints I have only used it once so far and it was great. So the actual review is for the jlajla its just a generic nijia . With a cheaper price. So I do recommend this jlajla brand. If that is what you get.

Icytreat, JLALA, etc

This machine performs its function well. I purchased this because I have been craving ice cream but do not want to have that temptation in my freezer and many ice cream shops have a chemical taste to me. I first looked at compressor machines that chill and whip up ice cream to to point of a soft serve consistency that you then need to freeze if you want a firmer scoop. Then I looked at the name brand version of this glorified blender type of machine. Decided on this one because the price was right and it had the options I was looking for (I want to try to make a frappe or matcha shake eventuallly). So far I have made sorbet, the simpliest recipe I could find which was lemon juice, sugar, corn syrup and water. The machine worked perfectly, there was a small amount of the mix that was frozen to the wall of the container that was missed by the blade but this is an issue with the name brand as well, and I do not think it is possible to solve this with this type of machine. Many users will release any frozen bits into the rest of the ice cream and then use the "respin" function. Another issue I saw in reviews with this machine is that the cups appear to crack, I have not had this happen (yet) I assume this is happening either from the cups having a sudden strong change in hot/cold, the cup not being in its groove correctly when blending, or the mix inside being frozen with an angle so it isn't flat and it causing too much stress on the plastic when blending. The name brand has an outer and inner cup, this machine does not. The last complaints I saw for this machine were that they couldn't get it to work, I do not know why that would happen I followed the instructions and had everything turn on and work ok. There was a wait to get the machine to rise up to its full height out of the box (also noisy) the instruction booklet was written well and was clear. Next batch of ice cream is freezing up now, its going to be vanilla.
