This little guy is small but mighty. The batter lasts a long time on a charge. I have Farrell cats living in my storage shed, so I made a little home for them with beds, cat house, rugs and automatic water and feed bowls. I turn the fan on in the mornings, as it shuts itself off after awhile, to keep air circulating for the kitty's. It works perfect because its fairly quiet so it doesn't scare them
