1) it has strong edges so won't deform in shape 2) I do NOT use it for babies. I use them to wash dishes !! Have a drawer full of endless products for washing dishes. yikes. Most were too awkward, didn't fit into glasses, too stiff, too scratchy.....etc etc etc These guys can be bunched up, shoved down a glass, they are just so easy to use and food doesn't stick to them like the other products, rinses off, and then when I am done, a final swipe to the counters and DONE 3) They just make me smile with the colors and for me, it's perfect for dishes. Got these for a baby shower. Mother loved the flower pattens they have on them. Said they was thick enough to clean up messes and be soft on her babies face.
