It was time to change out my 4 post queen bed I'd had since 1974. I wanted something that would give me more space in my bedroom. I decided on a platform bed with drawers. I have a small dog that sleeps with me and has a ramp along the length of one side so the drawers needed to be at the feet. I saw this online but waited to place my order. It was sold out when I went back. I put an alert and didn't respond quickly enough because it sold out again. The next time I responded immediately and got my bed more quickly than the original estimate. I wanted one with wooden slats to be easy to assemble and to be sturdy. Ultimately, I used Walmart's Handy app to have the bed assembled. Chris came on time, was Covid conscious and quickly assembled the bed. Since my box spring was no longer needed and made the bed too high even for me (much less my dog) Chris moved it to the garage for me to be removed by the mattress provider when my new mattress arrived. I quickly called to cancel the foundation I had ordered with my new mattress saving that cost. I love my new bed. The two drawers are roomy enough to hold sheets and blankets and I got the space I needed in my bedroom. My dog loves it and put herself to bed easily at night to warm up the bed for me. It's sturdy enough to give me decades of use at a reasonable cost.
