Boiling Instructions. 1 # Swamp Fire: Crabs, Gallons of Water: 2 gal., Quantity: 2 doz., Boil Time: 5 min., Soak Time: 15-20 min. 1 # Swamp Fire: Crawfish, Gallons of Water: 2 gal., Quantity: 12 to 16 lbs., Boil Time: 5-7 min., Soak Time: 15-20 min. 1 # Swamp Fire: Shrimp, Gallons of Water: 4 gal., Quantity: 16 to 20 lbs., Boil Time: 1-3 min., Soak Time: 10-15 min. Shrimp: Addition of 1/2 cup of margarine or cooking oil during boiling will make peeling easier. Increased soaking time will produce spicier product. Extra Spicy: Sprinkle Swamp Fire on seafood after removing from liquid. If product becomes to spicy, rinse well with water. Note: For 2nd boiling, add 1/2 original amount of Swamp Fire. The addition of ice after the boil time will slow the cooking process, increase flavor absorption and enhance peeling.
