I needed a bag to carry my work shoes, umbrella, and water bottle to work. This bag was perfect. The two pockets on the side holds my umbrella and water bottle and the inside of the backpack is spacious enough for my shoes to fit. There's also more space for to bring other items. I love it. Chose this for my 2 year old that is about to start MDO. There's not many dino backpacks on the market, especially under $20; they're either too realistic, such as Jurassic Park/World, or others were too baby-ish. This one is perfect, and definitely can't beat the price! I couldn't justify spending more than 20 on something just to hold his cup, pull-ups, lunch kit, 1 standard folder, and 1 change of clothes. I'm very pleased to read that others use it to hold more. There are a few loose threads that I'll need to cut, but it seems like it will last us at least a year like I intend. Purchased a cheap one awhile back from Amazon for my then 3 year old and only got maybe a week use before it started falling apart, I don't believe that will be the case for this one. I am very pleased with my $5 purchase!
