Mainstays 4-Shelf Metal Frame Bookcase, Black Finish

This is a great shelf unit. It would look great in the home with its simple but sleek design. I'm actually using it to replace a plastic shelving unit that holds all of my extra cleaners and household items in the garage. It is very stable and the shelves don't bend to the weight of jugs of laundry detergent on them. Putting it together was a very easy process.

It was pretty easy to put together, but you had to know how the holes faced on the bars for the screws that you use later. The shelf is sturdy on solid ground and great for the value. I was assembling it on carpet and it was a little wobbly, but when i was done i moved it to a hardwood floor and it was fine. It has a strap to strap it to the wall for safety, but i don't have little ones so there was no need for me. I assembled it upside down when i added the shelves. It made it easier to put the screws in shelves that way.
