So far so good.

Heat settings: -off -fan -heat 1, 2, 3. Thermostat: -supposedly pauses heat when the room is up to temp, but I haven't seen it doing this in my use. Tilt safety: -button on bottom will turn unit off if it falls over. Build: Plastic body, but feels reasonably sturdy. Simple heat coils, nice sized fan motor. I'm using it to cure lacquer, alongside a humidifier. It has done well so far, no issues.

Heat Carefully

This heater works well. We also have an old home. I NEVER crank these type of heaters to high. Too much heat and wattage . I will turn heat/temp up about halfway. The user guide shows the wattage per each temp (medium, high, etc,) Monitor the cord. You can feel if the cord is getting warm. Just turn the temperature down. Hope this helps. Be safe everyone.
