Great machine

To those complaining about having to use authentic k-cups, you are totally missing the point. Of course one reason for this is to make sure they make money on selling coffee but MORE IMPORTANTLY I don't have to put up with cheap off brand K-cups blowing up and putting coffee grounds all over my keurig. It's called QUALITY CONTROL PEOPLE! Was I surprised to find out that some of my older k-cups wouldn't work, yes. Am I mad about it, NO WAY. I welcome the consistency. I've only had the machine for a short time. My old one was 6 years old and was still going strong but would shake the house when it pumped water. This one is much quieter I just hope the pump holds up. If it goes, I'll let you all know.

Welcome to the future of coffee

I really like my Keurig 2.0, it comes with 42 K Cups and 4 K Carafe packs. It brews a much hotter cup than my original Cuisinart Keurig. Hopefully Sam's will have multi packs of the K Carafes available in stores soon. For those worried about not being able to use their original K-Cups in this brewer there are ways to work around it, do a YouTube search. Great product, and a great value from Sam's.

Big Improvement

We have owned several K-Cup coffee makers over the years, and they all have had room for improvement, and eventually quit pumping or the display freaks out. It seems two years is the about the life expectancy for daily use, even with RerverseOsmosis water and recommended descaling. This one ticks more boxes than the others -- it brews quickly, the water is hot, it is quieter than the rest, the water reservoir is larger than all but the Cuisinart, and it is very easy to use. The pump is different than the rest (you can tell by the sound it makes), so perhaps it will last longer -- time will tell.
