We are in the middle of some construction and the bathroom is the last thing we are going to get to. Unfortunately the bathtub is an original 1979 fiberglass one piece. In general, I would say it is not in good shape, but I needed to use it until we get to the renovation. I decided I would buy this mat because the rubber mats with the suction cups underneath did nothing but collect dirt and create mold because they just do not drain. I thought the price was right on this and worth a try. First of all I found that it is excellent for nonslip. It feels comfortable under your feet. I do think it does drain water better than the rubber mats, but it does hold water in general. I am able to take the hand shower and rinse it off and I hang it over the tub edge to drain it out when we go back home from the shore house. In addition, for those of us who like to be barefoot, I find that my feet are softer and cleaner because of this mat. It's like a loofah sponge for under our feet, which is great for those days when my back is hurting and it's hard to scrub under my dirty bare feet. So far it is mold free and I do not find that it holds too much water a couple of hours after the shower. Love the size. And love the options of other sizes.

This is the first time we've had this kind of mat and I love it. You can scrub your feet on it when you can't bend down to reach the bottoms of your feet is comfortable. It's just really good fit for a shower. I would like to see it in different colors though, but it is a very good product. Thank you.
