Smells great even after a day of welding

This deodorant is my husband's absolute favorite! It's the only one he used for years. The scent is amazing. As a welder he needs a deodorant that protects and lasts against the high temperatures of summer and playing with fire. This scent is hard to find recently but we buy extra any time we see it.

NU2ESSENCE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid user of the Phoenix brand line, until I received a free sample of the AXE ESSENCE ANTIPERSPIRANT. Upon receiving it, I stored it up until I was finished with my current deodorant. Well, it was time to use the ESSENCE and I was not disappointed. It went on, smelled, worked, no chalkiness, no odor, and lasts quite a while, because it was 'GREAT.'

Nice smell but that is about it.

Even though it smells nice this deodorant stick leaves a thick waxy build up in the arm pit area that is very hard to wash off. I also find that I have a burning sensation in my arm pit area after continual use of this product. And no I don't have sensitive skin and have never had previous issues with any other Antiperspirants. I initially purchased due to the positive reviews but am personally disappointed with this product and will not again in the future!
