Perfect for making refrigerator pickles!

This is such a practical item for making refrigerator pickles ! I'm devouring a second batch as i type. As long as you keep everything clean (and test with a pH strip for proper acidity), the veggies will stay delicious and safe for at least a week using homemade pickling solution! No fermenting, just the usual vinegar-water-salt-sugar-spices mixture. The glass is heavy duty. The lid seals just fine, though after some time it might require replacement from normal wear, and I hope that will be an option. I might consider buying another unit for making a slaw.

Exactly what I hoped it would be. No more fishing around in liquid to get a pickle, olive or even a cherry, but they can still remain submerged in their brine or juice to keep them moist. Just flip over to remove the pickle, flip back over to put them back into their brine. And the fact that it's glass is a bonus so no lingering smells or stains, and you feel like it's really clean after washing. Excellent product.
