I was looking for a thin small step ladder to fit between my washer and dryer so I could easily reach my top shelves in my cabinets over the pair. There were so many choices online but after watching a few videos of ultra-thin and cheaper ladders it became very clear that a few extra bucks would provide a safe and better ladder. The 2 steps are wide and deep so both feet fit comfortably on the step, there is a locking mechanism, so it doesn't fold up as you are moving around and reaching and the top padded hand grip really comes in handy to lean on and or grab as you use the ladder. To top it off it is ANSI A14.11 Certified which means it meets quality and safety standards, most other ladders don't meet these standards. As it turns out his has become our go to ladder for many household needs. My husband and I use this ladder more often than our 4 step since it is less bulky, lighter and easy to retrieve in the laundry closet. Definitely a best buy in my opinion.
