The worst experience I've ever had assembling furniture.

I want to start out by saying that I think reviews that go over assembly are useless. I personally like assembling furniture, so I usually ignore it. But oh my god I should have listened to the reviews on other sites. For starters, the box was half open when it was delivered and there was damage to the furniture before I was even able to bring it inside. (Thanks, Fedex). Because the box was damaged and falling apart, I couldn't even bring it up the stairs to my apartment - I had to open the rest of it up and take it apart and bring it up piece by piece. From there - the instructions are written in such a way that one can only assume modway does not want anyone to actually complete assembly of this frame. It recommends building with a second person, but if you want anyone to every respect you again, do not let them within 100 yards of you while putting this together. They list out and assign letters to all of the parts on the first page, and then immediately abandon the letter assignments in the very first step. In fact, they keep referring to three different parts with the same letters in every step. If you've ever wondered what its like to learn calculus while simultaneously dyslexic and illiterate, then this instruction manual is for you. I'm using manual loosely here as it is two pages. Modway deserves a literary award for such an exceptionally terrible job at writing assembly instructions - I have never known before that it was possible to get lost in the plot of a two-page picture book. The instructions say that it should take half an hour to assemble, but you will spend the first 45 minutes just trying to get your parts in order that you might as well take a full day off work. If you manage to figure out which way is up in the pictures, it doesn't even matter because most of the holes are so misaligned that you will develop scoliosis fighting to assemble this former tree carcass into a bed frame. The middle support and slats are so flimsy that I'm truly wo
