EverStart 1000 Watt Power Inverter with USB (PC1000E) in Yellow and Black - New

I used the Everstart power inverter to run an electric chainsaw with the 12 volt battery connected for power and it worked well. It has two 110-120 volt AC outlets and one USB charging port ( works nice as a back up on a car trip). i used the battery cables that are included and the 12 volt accessory plug, both worked well. I found that the inverter is simple to connect, but I had a little hard time tightening the positive connection screw. The manual is precise and easy to follow. The directions state that it is not for long term use, however, I felt safe using it to power a medium sized heater for several hours. The fans are a little noisy because they are constantly running to cool the inverter. I just placed the inverter about 5 feet away from me to get away from the fan noise. I think this is a nice, sturdy unit. It weights about 5 lbs and can be mounted on a workbench, etc. The LED is clear & bright. i recommend this Everstart inverter as a great small system to keep on hand for those times when you need a back up.

The EVERSTART MAXX 1000W power inverter model #PC1000E comes with all of the components that you will need to operate it except for the battery to power it. This power inverter has two 120V AC 3- prong outlets, one 2.1A USB charging port, one set of cables to attach directly to a 12V battery and one set of cables to plug into a 12V accessory plug. The digital display on the inverter shows watts in use, battery level and warning indicators. The unit has built into it automatic protection from; short circuit, overload, overheating, ground fault, high and low voltage. Connected directly to a 12V battery it will deliver up to 1000W of continuous power. Connected to a 12V accessory plug it will only deliver up to 120W of power. Converting 12V battery power to 120V of AC power takes a lot of energy! I got this power inverter to use in my RV when my generator is not running. I quickly learned that using the 12V accessory plugs in my RV was futile except to charge a phone or flashlight. I could not even power my 28” TV which only draws 30W of power. To use the full power of this inverter it must be connected directly to a 12V battery using the short cables that come with it. You can’t even use a 12V extension cord with it or you will lose too much power. After discovering all of this I used a separate 12V battery to connect the power inverter to and retried powering my TV. Connected to a separate battery allowed me to operate my 28” flat screen TV with a Wi-Fi streaming Firestick installed for 3 hours before the battery depleted low enough for the low voltage alarm to sound. When the alarm sounds it will not quit until you turn it off. This is aggravating but it saves your battery from depleting its charge so low that it cannot be recharged. This is my first inverter. I had to educate myself on how inverters work and how important wire size and length of wire determines what you can do with an inverter. What I learned is if you need a power inverter, taking into account cost and good quality I do not think you will be disappointed with the EVERSTART MAXX 1000W power inverter.
