This lamp is just perfect for what I need. I use it as a bedside table lamp, to read or light up my little area. It shines just the right amount of light. The features are wonderful. The base has two slotted areas, which is just right for storing little items I may need throughout the day or night. The lamp also has an electrical plug on the backside of the base, which is just right for charging up the cell phone. I liked my lamp so much that I bought another one for a roommate.
