I'm thoroughly impressed with this valance. The fabric is high quality and the color is a true black. It's not a complete blackout but super close. I have purchased another one at the same time and there's no comparison. The other one was twice the price. The material was very thin and already unraveling. It definitely wasn't blackout. So after saying all that.. this valance is a MUST purchase!!
