Instructions

Steps Of cooking: To fry onions: in a small deep pan heat ghee And addsliced onions. Saute/fry on high heat for 10 minutes or until the onionsturn transparent. Stir frequently. Reduce heat To low And continue tofry until the onion are light golden. Stir continuously. Remove fromheat And drain the ghee. Spread the fried onion on an absorbent paper.Allow it To cool And when crisp, crush it coarsely with a rolling pin.Do not grind it into a paste. 2. in the same ghee add garlic And fry forfew seconds. Then stir in meat, yogurt, ginger And shan korma curry mix.Cover And cook on low heat until the meat is tender. If desired, add 1-2cups Of water. Add crushed fried onions And kewra water. Cover And cookon low heat for 5 minutes or until the ghee separates From the gravy.Serving suggestion: serve with taftans. Lal roti And naans. Serve 6-8persons. Tips for best results: the yogurt should not be sour. Do notuse over browned fried onion. 300 g fresh sliced onion=1 cup Of crushedfried onion. Meat: use ribs, chops & shoulder cuts.
