Instructions
1.Bring 4 - 6 quarts of water to a rolling boil, add salt to taste. 2. Add contents of package to boiling water. Stir gently. 3. Return to a boil. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. For more tender pasta, boil an additional 1 minute. 4. Remove from heat. Drain well. 5. Serve immediately with your favorite Barilla sauce.

Finally a new pasta shape has been added to the shelves. Consumers are looking for more varieties and shapes to choose from these days since so many new recipes are not calling for the mundane shapes such as elbow macaroni.

I love Barilla pasta
It truly is the highest quality, and I love the mezzi rigatoni and am not aware of any other manufacturer who makes this size: I use it in several recipes in which regular rigatoni is just too much and too large, and a smaller yet tube-like noodle is still desirable particularly pasta salad recipes--wonderful size, and I'm so grateful that Barilla makes it.

I love everything about this pasta. It's the perfect bite size for baked pasta casseroles or stovetop dishes for use in white sauce and red. I stock up whenever I find it.
