I was very disappointed when I found out that our local Walmart and Albertsons have stopped selling this item. We love it for chipped beef on toast and for the holidays spread cream cheese on the meat and wrap it around a dill pickle, the family loves them and I was worried we wouldn't be able to have them any more. the price was higher than in the past but thankfully we were able to get some!!!!

Old timey recipe for two people -Chop 2 bottles of beef into 1-inch pieces Melt 2 tablespoons of butter into 1-quart saucepan Stir in 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour till mixed Stir in 1 cup milk till sauce starts to get like a medium texture gravy Stir Stir Stir to keep from burning on bottom of saucepan You now have "white sauce" Throw in beef, mix well, spread on toast-it's great....... Two bottles of beef chopped into 1 in. squares

Been using this product for over 40 years. Best flavor for dried beef. Just enough salt! Makes my chipped beef on toast or biscuits so tasty!
