the inside tub was stainless steel and the cover was stainless steel as well which resisted melting when water boils but the black plastic connector that lifts up the cover was made out of plastic that reacted to the water boil reaching 100 deg celsious and started emitting odor or smell that is not safe over boiling water. the water seems to taste like melting plastics which is not safe if mixed with this boiling water to make coffee or ramen. the seller needs to alert the manufacture to change this black plastic connector to a stainless steel connector so that no plastics is melting over hot water that customers trust to drink and add coffee or noodles to. please redesign this plastic connector that lifts up the cover to a SS connector. Thank you

This was good experience. However, size of the container box was unnecessarily large. Just a wastage of there resources.
