Nice little hot water kettle for travel. I used to bring a coffeepot with me, but this is so much easier without any mess. Instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or oatmeal in a very quick time. Great for my purpose. It is not double walled like the large kettle I use at home, but for really such a small amount of water it does not need to stay hot. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this to replace an insanely overpowered (1500 watt) brand name pot. They both have roughly the same capacity. The brand name is twice the size, has a ridiculous red plastic fill level thingy 2/3 of the way down and is bare metal (HOT!) on the outside. It not only takes more than twice the electricity, it takes twice the time to heat all of that empty space. Then beware if you're not perfectly coordinated at all times and accidentally brush your hand against the side! This item solves all of my issues, most importantly not tripping my breaker by being uselessly overpowered. Hot water quickly, low power draw and safe handling.
