My company switched to coast lighting for awhile. We were all impressed by how durable and bright they are. We even dropped one (accidentally) into the bottom of a tank the had a mixture containing phosphoric acid in it. 5 days later, when we finally got it out, it just needed a battery change and it was back up and running. This headlamp feels like it's made just as durable as any other product made by this company. I expect many years of use out of it.

I bought these as gifts. My wife and I have the XPH30R and they work great. I like that they are rechargeable. They are built tough, I have had other headlamps that do not hold up. I also have a G23 which I use everyday, when it stopped working they sent out a new one. I have two of their knives also. Satisfied customer.

As close to perfect for me as I've ever had. Great runtime, quick focus changes, replaceable band, removable light with magnet........and the beam has a refined pattern with no hotspots or deadzones. The external recharge port has a waterproof cap.....GENIUS! Three brightness levels, the low is perfect, the high is powerful. Not sure why high power is in between medium and low, but otherwise a great light with quality construction. Run time is as advertised. Can't speak to how many cycles the battery will give as I've only had the light a week, but if it's from Coast, it's quality.

Works well for me, an IT guy, when i get to crawling under desks or i need to work in unlit comm closets. I have the option of wearing it on my head at any angle or taking it off of the clips entirely and securing to a metal surface with a magnet. I have done both. Also, the lowest setting is usually enough, but it's nice to have the option to go higher.

Light weight, but bright. While being rechargeable was a a nice feature, would recommend having a spare battery if using for prolonged time. It fit nice on my helmet and the beam focus feature was handy. The water proof feature held up even after being submersed for short time. Rugged body held up well. Primary used thus far in trips to two wet caves, a few night walks including one in heavy rain. Compared to others lights of same size it performed better than expected.

This is one of the best headlamps ever made. With 3 brightness settings, rechargeable, and the magnet make it awesome. I love that you can remove it from the strap and attach to anything metal if you need to. Just a great bright focusable light that is the bomb!!!!

Works Great. All functions and switches work well. A little disappointed with battery life, I wish they would make this with a 18650 battery so the run time would be a little higher, but I bought an extra battery so its not a big problem, just have to change out for a charged battery more often. I also wish it's "high" setting was a little brighter. It's not as bright as my previous Coast light, the FL70, but it is better than the FL70 in every other way, including being more robust and having a way better switch/button. I got this on a good sale for about $30, so I'm very happy, if I had payed full price I would not be so sure.
