[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These socks are the low cut style. Great for summer time or warm weather. I found them to be quite comfortable and soft. These are mainly just socks I would wear for walking around. Since I am a tennis player I would not use these for that application since they are so soft. The fit is just right, I am a size 13 men's shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference: I wear size 11 shoe (10 pending on the brand), and have worn these socks 3-4 times thus far. Feel: These socks are comfortable and durable enough to wear all-day under light stress. (I.e. If you're going hiking, wear something with more padding.) They have a comfy fit at the opening and sit on the bottom portion of my ankle; very light compression around the arch; and an airy/just right fit around the toes. Aesthetically: They rise just above the opening in the shoes; so, they're not no-show socks. The natural tones allow these socks to lend themselves to both leather shoes and most shades of gray. At the time of writing this, Hanes is the only retail brand available in major superstores that I've noticed offering men's low rise socks with color schemes that complement leather shoes. So, kudos for kicking the sock industry into the 21st century and for keeping leather shoes and shorts looking good together. Overall: I like these a lot, especially the colors and cut. As long as these keep up well for a couple years, I'll definitely get the "Heel Shield - Downtown Streets" again.

The heel stayed in place no binding around my ankle, the back of my shoe did not rub on my foot due to the material protecting my foot. Definitely comfortable to wear all day.

These are the perfect no show position for sneakers. Nice design and color scheme. These wash and dry well with no signs of shrinkage.

A snug fit with good arch support that keeps your feet comfortable all day long. They did shrink a small amount but didn't change the fit. No pilling or signs of wear. A really nice sock for any situation.

I gave these to a friend and he really liked the colors and quality and commented they were warm. They looked equal in quality to another higher priced brand of socks that I own. I would purchase a women's size in the same style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Hanes Explorer Downtown Streets socks are nice in color,they fit nicely and are comfortable to wear for the most part.Occasionally the little "flap" that is on the back of the sock folds down and you have to untuck/pull it out. The "flap" is more of a nuisance and don't really serve a purpose I don't believe,but it does look nice. They are easy to wash and care for.
