Not as advertised but works for me!

Advertised as 10” but not that small, which I was happy about because I decided I wanted a larger frame. On the outside it's 13 5/8” square with an inner “mat” that makes the opening 9 1/2” square. Very rustic. Fits the space that I intended for the project. I'm happy.

THE FRAME WAS NICE BUT I WOULD NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE SINCE IT WAS ALMOST $50 AND DID NOT HAVE GLASS IN IT. IT WAS JUST A WOODEN FRAME.
