Several years ago I had a pretty intense go round with throat cancer. I ended up with a jaw transplant (Mandibulectomy and Fibula Free Flap Reconstruction for you medical nerds). It didn't go great and I've had a lot of complications- 17 ER visits and counting- So at times it hurts to chew. My daughter introduced me to OWYN and I love it. For starters, I can pronounce all the ingredients and know what they are- complete list below. They taste pretty good to really good. I will occasionally add some stevia but that's because during the aforementioned treatment I developed somethi9ng of a sweet tooth. They seem to last for a while, I can usually go several hours without feeling hungry. The OWYN drinks are small enough to toss into your bag or purse or whatever.. definitely better chilled but they are ok at room temperature. Finally, these don't have that fake or chemical taste that other protein drinks seem to have. This is my go-to, in fact I ordered three of the 4 packs, because that 17th ER visit was three days ago. Water, Pea Protein, Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein, Organic Flax Oil; Contains 2% or less of the following: Soluble Fiber, Organic Cane Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Cocoa Powder, Sunflower Lecithin, Natural Flavors, Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, Greens Blend (Broccoli, Spinach, Kale), Monk Fruit Extract, Guar Gum, Gellan Gum.

These protein shakes are perfect for on-the-go. Each bottle packs 32g of protein, which really helps me stay on track with my daily protein goals, especially on busy days. The chocolate flavor tastes great — smooth and satisfying without being overly sweet. Convenient, filling, and reliable. I'll definitely keep buying these.

I was told by my doctor and I'm allergic to milk so I'm looking for something that was milk free I found it with the O dark chocolate and it's dairy free and it is great. I love it. I have it every morning pretty much for my breakfast cause it's filling. I love it. and the chocolate I've been needing more protein because I'm not much of a meat eater and I needed more protein. This plant based high protein shakes are a great way to start the day. Easy on stomach and makes me energized for the morning. I really love this OWYN brand. It seems to be the “cleanest” of the protein drinks as far as ingredients. I love the taste of these chocolate flavor shakes.

I originally purchased for hubby because he's lactose intolerant. I usually purchased Premier Shakes for myself. After trying Owyn out of curiosity, I'm going to purchase them for both of us. The chocolate is really good. Vanilla is my favorite but I haven't tried it yet. I will be doing that soon. Thank you so much.

This chocolate shake is my favorite. I'm a diabetic so these are perfect meals on the go. No funky after taste. They are smooth and creamy. I can drink one at room temp or cold. Cold is best, but room temp is totally fine as well. I was not a fan of the Owyn 20's though. But I'm glad i have these a try because they taste way better, plus have more protein. I drink one or two a day, usually for breakfast and lunch or a late night snack when I'm craving chocolate.

Started buying this for disabled husband who is having trouble keeping his weight up and eating due to dysphagia and tracheostomy. I appreciate that this protein shake is plant based, not dairy, gluten free and is flavored with Stevia and monk fruit instead of chemical sugar substitutes or high fructose corn syrup. The only things that could make it better is having more vitamins and minerals to support health and probiotics and probiotics for digestion. The price is better than many other protein drinks and the taste is good according to my husband.

Normally I would recommend this product because it's the only vegan choc protein drink I can have UNTIL THEY RECENTLY CHANGED THE FORMULA!!! Everything looks the exact same in the ingredients list when comparing the old and new one, but SOMETHING ELSE IS IN THERE that makes my throat itchy for about 20 minutes, indigestion is bad, and I get extremely gassy hours later and takes forever to get back to normal. Mind you, I eat the EXACT same thing ever. single. day. Nothing has changed except this new formula… I have NO clue what they changed, but they're extra sneaky about it and it has RUINED ME! Now I have to hunt a new packaged vegan protein shake. Thanks a lot…

I have been drinking several brands of protein drinks %26 thought I would try this one. I couldn't purchase 1 individual bottle, so had to buy the 4 pack. I opened one %26 I think I took 2 swallows %26 the taste was awful. I do realize everyone is different, but this surely isn't for me.
