It's a keeper!

I am very pleased with this new Senix mower. It's a brand I never heard of before but it starts and runs very well. Assembly was very easy. I ordered online and they shipped right away. There is an emphasis on safety in the instructions, doesn't hurt to review this information. I like that it has a B%26S engine, and easy operator controls. I'm new to using a bagger so still learning on when to empty it.

This lawn mower works well. Very powerful. The only think I am not a big fan of is the drive train engagement lever. It is not ergonomic from the pushing handle. It is so far from the handle that you have to take your hand off the handle to reach and engage the lever. Other than that, a great mower.

The SENIX is a work horse and a good value

The Senix arrived quickly in a box and unboxed and filled with oil and fuel and it was ready to go with one pull to get it started. I like the ease of use but i'm not excited about the placement of the Drive handle placement but it requires minimal pressure engage the Drive . My unit is not selectable but it is not too fast to handle when it gets going. The Senix is durable and a solid unit with of course the Briggs %26 Stratton engine. It is a simple design that works well and is easy to use. The handling on bad terrain is great and the lift capacity to expel clippings is also very good. The blade it comes with is good but some may need a different blade depending on the type of cut that may be required. I have two other mowers that are hard working machines that I have had for years and this Senix is a great addition and a lighter machine that compliments my choices when going out to cut a large area that is not forgiving. It's a pretty good buy for the price and should hold up well if taken care of with cleaning and protecting from the weather. The under side will have to be cleaned manually because debris will get caught up under the cover and power drive area. Probably easier to remove the cover to get all of it out to prevent corrosion damage cut grass.

Initial review after one cut.

Delivered sooner than delivery date at the time of order. The box arrived well worn. There was no damage to the contents, though. Assembly was simple but missing one washer. Luckily, I had one. After adding the oil and gas, the lawnmower started on the first pull. Two days later, on the first yard cut, it started on the first pull again. Happy with the purchase so far.

It's a "B...." to clean, but starts in one pull

This is a good size mower although it would have been nice if it were a 24" mower in its price range. It starts very easily after about two months of use ~8 cut cycles. A full tank is sufficient to cut a half acre. The rear wheel drive is very effective and a little abrupt on engagement giving the impression it is going to be propelled at a fast pace. It moves along at a reasonable speed and for me could go faster. I noted the rear wheels are bowed a little (tipped inward at the top %26 outward at the bottom) as if the mower is too heavy for them giving the impression there may be some reliability issues with the drive system later in its usage. It's possible it was dropped hard on the rear wheels causing the bow. The single lever height adjuster is very nice and a good feature for any push mower. WHAT I DON'T LIKE, cleaning. The under deck design that shields the belt drive system and the rear partition area are a horror show to remove cut grass from. To my surprise grass debris in large quantities comes into direct contact with the belt and pulley system and is housed in close proximity to it by the same deflector system intended to protect the components. The handle bar must be folded and a means to tilt the mower back and hold the position so that grass can be washed out of the belt drive system. The somewhat flexible shield near the back end area of the mower has to be manipulated by hand to free up the debris and even that is marginally effective as the design still traps grass debris. It takes gallons of water %26 I still end up with dead grass from the previous use being washed out with the current. I've read at least one review where the owner stated the drive system stopped working, my suspicion is that debris piled up in the belt drive area to an extent that caused the belt to jump off the pulley. One other concern I have about the difficulty with cleaning debris from the belt drive area is the potential to hold moisture and promote rust. There is an accessory point for connecting a water hose via the adapter that must be purchased in order to spray the underside of the deck while the mower sits on all four wheels. I can't imagine it being as effective as it would need to be in order to clear out the debris from the hard to reach areas. I'm not going to pursue purchasing it. I would disregard the idea that the oil does not need to be changed. As an individual with extensive experience building car engines, there's no way I'm going to run one without changing the oil at a reasonable interval, either whenever it appears dirty, or once or twice a year. Manufacturers are not necessarily trying to help you get the longest life out of their product, they want you to buy more and the sooner the better. Treat it with the same care that you would your car when it comes to oil changes and do it is my opinion.

Damaged lawnmower!

As soon as I opened the box I saw the handle bar protective foam was damaged. After assembled I used the lawnmower and the self propelled only worked for about 5 minutes. The next day I turned it on and it started making a loud noise. I believe I was sent a refurbished lawnmower. I'm very disappointed with Walmart online!

SENIX parts are impossible to order

Wheel broke off the third time we used it. Could not find a replacement anywhere and the factory would not respond to voicemails or emails. I returned it and will never purchase a SENIX product again!!
